The war never stops, and the government chooses control in the name of protecting its people. Living by the rules under the protective shield, H-609 has one dream, to sit in a theater and watch a ballet. Running out past the shelter one day as usual, H-609 finds J-124 dancing alone in an empty stretch of forest. The two have lived nothing like each other, and in that short meeting they feel for the first time what it is to be with someone. Then, just as each comes close to a dream, the bombing starts again and the control tightens. In a world that holds only control and survival, H-609 and J-124 decide to exist as one 'I'. What does it mean to stay human inside a war? What is it that keeps a person human? The film started from those questions.
