The Road to France

A girl sets out through the landscape of southern France, follows the signs and arrives at a single room where traces of different times and cultures meet. The moment she unties the traditional Korean knot around a wine bottle, a butterfly appears as a sign of new connection and new possibility. This AI cinematic art film draws tradition and the present, Korea and France, into one story, and marks the 140th anniversary of relations between the two countries by putting the exchange they have built together on screen. Following the butterfly as it rises, the journey offers itself as the beginning of another meeting.
