Deleting your account
You can delete your Contentrip account at any time. This page explains how, even if you have already removed the app.
How to request deletion
- Sign in on the Contentrip app or website.
- Go to My → Settings → Delete account.
- Tap Request account deletion to submit.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Nothing is erased right away. Your account is deleted 30 days after you request it, and you can cancel from the same screen until then. The wait exists so an accidental tap can be undone.
What is deleted and what stays
Personal details such as your email, name, and profile photo are deleted or made unidentifiable. The following remain.
- Payment and settlement records — retention periods are set by law.
- Posts and comments — the text stays but is no longer linked to an identifiable author. Delete them yourself first if you want them gone.
- Reports and disputes filed by other people — they belong to those users, so they cannot be removed with your account.
When deletion is put on hold
If you have an active project, an unpaid settlement, a running subscription, or an open dispute, your request is still accepted but deletion resumes once those are resolved. You do not need to request it again.
